videolyrics.org is a page about a lyric video tool that is not open yet. The only thing it asks for is an email address, so we can tell you when it opens. This page says what happens to it.
The short version. If you leave your email, it is sent to the person who runs the site, once, and used for one thing: telling you when videolyrics opens. It is never sold or shared. Nothing else is asked for.
| What | Why | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address, if you leave it | To email you when videolyrics opens | Until it opens and we have told you, or until you ask us to delete it |
| Your country, worked out from your connection | Sent along with your email, to know where interest comes from. Never your IP address | As long as your email |
| Usage measurements | To see how many people visit and sign up. Counts only, never your email address | As held by Google Analytics |
| Service | What it receives |
|---|---|
| Resend | Delivers your email address and country to the person who runs the site. |
| Google Analytics | Usage measurements: pages visited and whether the form was sent. It sets cookies to count returning visitors. |
| YouTube | The example videos are YouTube embeds in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube sees your IP address when they load, and sets cookies only if you play one. |
| Vercel | Hosts the site and sees the usual request details, including your IP address. |
The site sets none of its own. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits, and YouTube may set them if you play a video. Blocking them in your browser does not stop the page or the form from working.
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, including taking your email off the list. Write to carlosmartinezt@gmail.com and we will act within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. When videolyrics opens, this page will be rewritten to cover the tool itself.
